As I look back over the mountains of news entries and what not that greeted me when I logged on, I see it's been over a year since I was last here.  I have a tendency to fall in and out of things over time.  Grad school got the best of me for a while, and I started learning to play the drums.  School took away a lot of my 'creative' time and drumming replaced the rest of it for a while. I think, however, that I'm back into the visually creative swing again.  It will take me a little while to get back in to the swing of things, remembering how to use my software and all, but I should start producing again soon.  I probably won't be as prolifi

I've only been a member here for a few days and I've seen several tag lines already stating "I'll watch for a watch".  I, for one, will have no part of this.  I understand the concept behind it, but I just don't subscribe to it. If you get a fave or a watch from me, I want you to know that you earned it.  I'm not doing it out of some perceived obligation or returning a gesture.  By the same token, I don't want you to do it to me either.  If you feel my work is worth it, then by all means go ahead.  Even though, it's a sure way to get me to view your work, I'd rather that wasn't the reason you did it.  I want to know I earned it.  It means mo
