As I look back over the mountains of news entries and what not that greeted me when I logged on, I see it's been over a year since I was last here. I have a tendency to fall in and out of things over time. Grad school got the best of me for a while, and I started learning to play the drums. School took away a lot of my 'creative' time and drumming replaced the rest of it for a while.

I think, however, that I'm back into the visually creative swing again. It will take me a little while to get back in to the swing of things, remembering how to use my software and all, but I should start producing again soon. I probably won't be as prolific, preferring to work on one piece until I'm happy with it, rather than keep several going at once. I hope this will help to prevent the burnout I suffered from before.
